February Culinary Speakeasy Event

The Traveling Tap is teaming up with Comfortably Yum catering to create a unique couples culinary experience.

We invite 5 couples for an intimate night of mingling, cocktails and dinner.  Where each couple will get to not only enjoy a wonderful meal but be hands on in the process!  So when you leave, you can add this to your arsenal of date night ideas you can duplicate at home on a rainy day!

What can you expect?

Couples when they arrive will be greeted with a Spanish inspired charcuterie board with thin sliced Iberico cured ham, Protuguese Estrella cheese, sliced baguette, grated tomato with Spanish olive oil and fresh fruit.  An appetizer of Warm New England style truffled Lobster Rolls prepared by Chef Chris and time to talk and mingle with other guests before couples are split into 2 groups.

Group 1 will join Chef Chris from Comfortably Yum, in the kitchen and be hands on and learn to cook the nights meal.

Group 2 will join our Head Mixologist Tim, to make a drink to pair with with the evenings meal, as well as a dessert!

Each couple will not only leave with a goodie bag, but recipe cards for everything made this evening so they can duplicate this at home!

Menu

Halibut En Papillote: lightly marinated halibut steamed in white wine and butter, top with julienned leeks/carrots/celery/parsley and Piment d espelette with Pressed and seared baby Yukon golden potatoes.

Couples must be 21+.

Tickets are $250 per couple.
